Sci-Fi Hologram

During the Winter of 2023, I practiced my motion design skills by turning myself into a sci-fi-style hologram. I utilized a Kinect v2 sensor to capture my body in real-time, then applied visual effects using NotchBuilder's robust suite of VFX tools.

The production still needed a background, so I sourced some royalty-free models and images online to enhance the sci-fi theme. While my body is used as an example, anyone can project themselves into the hologram.

Also during the Winter of 2023, I accomplished every 90s kid's dream of becoming a Power Ranger.

Using a combination of video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and particle effects in NotchBuilder, I was able to recreate the morphs of the classic cast of characters.
